NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Three members of Trident United Way’s advancement team have earned 2026 honors for professional achievement and community impact. Their work advances Trident United Way’s mission of uniting the Tri-County to uplift families out of poverty.
Brooke Chhina, vice president of corporate advancement, was named to Charleston Business Magazine’s 2026 Best and Brightest 35 and Under list. Corporate advancement officer Chloe Klotzbach was also selected. Katherine Torbush, director of strategic volunteer engagement, was named one of SCBIZ’s 2026 Emerging Leaders Under 40.
Chhina leads Trident United Way’s corporate advancement strategy, growing workplace giving and sponsorships while building partnerships that support employees and local families. She also helped expand Thrive@™Work, embedding Family Coaching in workplaces across the region.
Klotzbach leads workplace giving campaigns, cultivates relationships with businesses across the community and helps secure corporate support for Trident United Way’s work. The organization currently has 41 workplace campaigns and multiple corporate sponsors.
Torbush creates service opportunities for individuals, groups and companies across the Tri-County. Through Days of Caring and other hands-on projects, she helps mobilize thousands of volunteers and generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in impact each year.
“Brooke, Chloe and Katherine each bring something different to our team, but they share a gift for seeing what a relationship can become,” said Bridget Laird, Chief Advancement Officer at Trident United Way. “They listen, understand what matters and create meaningful ways for people to take part. I am grateful to work alongside them and so proud to see each of them recognized.”
