The FoodShare Tri-County program provides the opportunity for individuals to invest in their health and gain access to fresh, quality food at an affordable cost. Each Fresh Food Box is filled with 10-12 varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables with a retail value of $40+. The produce varies every two weeks!

Boxes are ordered in advance and our incredible volunteer workforce spends several hours every other week counting, sorting, and packing each customer's FoodShare box with fresh fruits and veggies. 
 

Volunteers assisting with the food sorting and counting will help inspect, sort and count food items in preparation for food packing. 
The duration of this opportunity is to be determined but if interested a member of our team will contact you to share additional details as they come.

*This will involve lifting boxes, standing, and moving around a bit. This opportunity will mostly be inside a climate-controlled building but may involve some time outside while unloading the truck.
Volunteers are needed to help pack the fresh fruits and vegetables into the Fresh Food Boxes along with useful printed materials in preparation for distribution to the community. We have opportunities for everyone to help!

** Packing days are every other Wednesday beginning at 10am in a climate controlled warehouse. When selecting this option, please indicate below any/all dates you are interested in participating in and a member of our team will contact you to schedule. 
Volunteers assisting with the distribution will help us run a drive through for people to pick up their boxes. The duration of this volunteer shift is to be determined but if interested a member of our team will contact you to share additional details as they come.

*This opportunity will involve lifting boxes, placing boxes into vehicles, standing and moving around a bit as well as interaction with box recipients. It will also take place inside a climate controlled warehouse as well as outside while helping load vehicles.
