2024 Cocktails and Conversations
Trident United Way Young Leaders United hosted the 2024 Cocktails & Conversations on March 14 at the Harbour Club at WestEdge. Attendees networked and connected prior to participating in three rounds of table discussions, led by established philanthropic leaders from the Trident United Way Tocqueville Society. It was a wonderful evening filled with meaningful conversation and leadership development. Thank you to all who attended!

2024 Backpack Assembly
Over 600 backpacks were were filled with school supplies through the Trident United Way Young Leaders United backpack assembly volunteer event! These supplies will provide a much needed mid-year refresh to students in the Tri-County community.

2023 Fall Leadership Series with lululemon
Members of Trident United Way Young Leaders United are invited to hone their leadership skills with the lululemon Mt. Pleasant team leaders. In this two-part workshop series, you'll explore the themes of intentional listening, collaboration and decision making.
Held on September 14 & September 21 from 11:30am-1pm at the TUW offices in North Charleston. This series is open to YLU members only. Please RSVP to Danielle at dtrauthj@tuw.org.
2023 Young Leaders United School Supply Drive
A huge thank you to everyone who generously contributed to the 2023 Young Leaders United School Supply Drive! Whether you donated, sponsored, volunteered or shared the opportunity with your network, you made a huge difference in the lives of many students in the Tri-County community.
1,400 backpacks and school supplies were donated through the 2023 Young Leaders United virtual supply drive and are being distributed through community partners in the Tri-County area. 120 volunteers participated in the supply drive packing over a two day period at the UPS Customer Center.
Community Partners who received backpacks: Charleston Hispanic Association, CHS Promise Neighborhood (Mary Ford Elementary), Carolina Youth Develoment Center, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, McKinney Vento, My Sisters House, One80 Place, Our Lady of Mercy Community Outrech, St. Julian Devine Community Center, The Hope Center and Trident United Way Resource Connection Centers.

2023 Young Leaders United Lunch & Learn
Thank you to all who attended the Trident United Way Young Leaders United lunch and learn discussion Moving Forward Together: Equitable Transportation in the Tri-County. Panelists shared incredible insight on challenges and opportunities within our community, inspiring attendees to engage and advocate!

Member Eligibility
Donors ages 30-40 years old contributing an annual individual or combined gift of $1,000 or more to Trident United Way are eligible to join Young Leaders United.
YLU Step-Up Program
Step-Up members make a commitment to increase their Trident United Way gift — giving at least $500 in year one, $750 in year two and $1,000 in year three. Step-Up members are recognized as full YLU members and have access to all YLU benefits.
