CCR&R, 2-1-1 Hotline Featured On TV News

When reporters want information about child care and crisis intervention, they know whom to call.

Trident United Way’s Child Care Resource & Referral and 2-1-1 Hotline.

Count On 2 News and Live 5 News featured Latoyya Jones in stories about the recent death of two children left in a car by a mother who couldn’t find child care. Jones, Parent Referral Specialist at Child Care Resource & Referral, discussed the options available to families in immediate child care need and the services provided by Child Care Resource & Referral.

Live 5 News also talked to John Boyle, Information Specialist at 2-1-1 Hotline about how the service helps people in crisis. With a comprehensive database of providers of all types, Boyle noted, 2-1-1 Hotline can refer callers and website visitors to the many available services.
