for Information & Referral
First Two in S.C. Are at 211 Hotline
Cathy Scaramella, Resource Manager at Trident United Way’s 211 Hotline,
has become the second person in South Carolina to achieve the highest
certification possible in the Information & Referral field.
Scaramella is a certified resource specialist, earned through the Association
of Information and Referral Specialists (AIRS).
She is now certified to manage a community information and referral
database. She joins John Boyle, Information Specialist at 211 Hotline,
in this distinction.
AIRS is a professional umbrella for all information & referral
providers in both public and private organizations. Comprehensive and
specialized I&R programs are a critical component of the health
and human service delivery system.
