Leadership Giving

United Way is working to strengthen our community by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family, and good health.

Trident United Way is honored to have an outstanding group of contributors who give generously. If you have not already, we would like to encourage you to join a giving society.

Tocqueville Society
Our Tocqueville Society is the largest in South Carolina with more than 120 members. Individuals and families in this society contribute $10,000 or more and are recognized nationally for their generous spirit. Palmetto Society
This is a group of more than 1,600 contributors who annually give $1,000 or more. We are grateful for these individuals. Leadership contributions make up almost half of our annual fundraising dollars. Learn how you can get more involved in the Palmetto Society by contacting Gena Henry (ghenry@tuw.org).

Women's Leadership Council
The WLC of Trident United Way celebrates women who give $1,000 or more as an individual, or $2,500 or more as part of a couple to our annual campaign. Young Philanthropists Society
The Young Leaders Society seeks to engage, empower, and connect young philanthropists who give at least $1,000 annually to Trident United Way and are 40 years old or younger. For more information contact Gena Henry (ghenry@tuw.org).

Legacy Society
A select collection of contributors feel compelled to leave a legacy of philanthropy -- making a difference in our community tomorrow and beyond. To find out how you can become a part of this group, contact Kenton Barham (kbarham@tuw.org).

Diamond Donor
Our Diamond Donors have given to United Way, in any city, for 25 years or more. We appreciate knowing we can rely on these contributors to help us each year.
