Candidate should have 7+years experience developing successful programs for low income children and their families; 3-5 years experience as Executive or Program Director of non-profit agency that does similar work. Masters degree in related field preferred. Excellent technical assistance, program development, outcome measurement, grant writing and communication skills required. Position Summary:
Provide staff leadership for the Education portion of the Integrated Impact Agenda in working with the Education Vision Council, funded partners and community at large. Coordinate all aspects of the Education impact area including: engaging the community around the Agenda; developing and implementing the multi-dimensional strategies; creating and supporting work groups as necessary to achieve the objectives; creating collaborative partnerships centered around integration of the impact areas; providing technical assistance to funded partners; and establishing, measuring and evaluating the Education community and program outcomes. The position is also responsible for providing staff support for the community investment process for Education funded programs; managing the Child Care Resource & Referral program and Links to Success Collaborative Partnership; securing additional resources to adequately fund initiatives; grants management and reporting; and overseeing the appropriate use of resources.
