Education
A good education is one of the key components of a good life. To help ensure that all children in the Trident Area have the opportunity to receive a good education, TUW invests in programs that help to prepare children for school and help them build their academic and life skills while they're in school.
The ultimate goal of our efforts in Education is to help youth in the Trident Area successfully transition into adulthood. We measure our success in achieving this goal by the percentage of youth who earn a high school diploma or its equivalent. Why? Because graduating from high school creates the pathway that defines nearly every aspect of an individual's success as an adult -- economically, socially, and in terms of health.
