Adult Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is an 8 hour course that helps the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Participants will go through a 5-step action plan encompassing the skills, resources and knowledge to help an individual in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer, social, and self-help care. After completion of the entire course, participants will be certified as a Mental Health First Aider. There is an Adult Mental Health First Aid Training and a separate Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. Lunch will be provided.
