Significant Accomplishments

• Researched and developed a Children & Youth Services Impact Agenda that will guide the efforts of our funded partners in developing collaborations and delivering services in both school-based and community-based settings.
• In collaboration with our funded partners, developed a school-based service delivery model (Links to Success) that addresses:
  • School/individual student assessment and involvement in the school’s core team process
  • Structured mentoring, tutoring, after-school, and reading/literacy services
  • Curriculum-based life skills development and parent involvement
  • Structured service learning and career orientation opportunities
• Adapted quality standards for After School and mentoring programs from a number of nationally recognized entities.
• Worked with funded partners that address child abuse issues to identify collaborative opportunities around National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
• Recruited significant financial support from the Alcoa Foundation and Google for the Links to Success initiative.
