Leveraging Human Capital to Make an Impact in Our Community

Trident United Way promotes a culture of volunteerism by engaging its corporate partners and individual volunteers through valuable TUW service opportunities. Volunteers for TUW are thought leaders on committees and councils, as well as decision makers about community investments.

Volunteer Matching System

In response to feedback from community volunteers, TUW is building a volunteer matching system, available in 2017. Volunteers will be able to:

  • help build nonprofit partner capacity
  • find both skill-based and hands-on direct service opportunities
  • search for flexible and diverse options in education, financial stability and health
  • volunteer with a workplace team or individually
  • contribute to tracking real results that lead to community change

Trident United Way's Day of Caring

Trident United Way’s Day of Caring brings together hundreds of nonprofit agencies and schools with thousands of volunteers on one day to engage in service projects to improve our Tri-County community.
