Welcome to Trident United Way

Trident United Way works to strengthen our community by focusing on education, income and health.

These are the building blocks of a good life -- a quality education that leads to a stable job,
enough income to support a family and good health.

By giving, advocating and volunteering, we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity for a good life.
That's how we LIVE UNITED.

Make a Difference
One Phone Call At a Time!

THANKS for being interested in volunteering with 2-1-1 Hotline, the local 24-hour support, information and crisis intervention line. 2-1-1 Hotline is the place to call 24 hours a day to get or give help. Volunteer phone counselors offer a listening ear to all kinds of people. Our computerized information database helps us provide helpful information about local resources - whether the caller needs help or wants to volunteer. 2-1-1 Hotline has many different ways for you to get involved! Here are just some of the volunteer and internship opportunities available:

Volunteer Today
  • Phone Counselor -- help staff our hotline
  • Outreach, Public Relations and Marketing -- help us spread the word about our services
  • Volunteer Management -- volunteer event planning, promoting volunteerism in the community
  • Information and Resource Technical and Administrative Support -- resource database maintenance, software and reporting

If you'd like more information about any of these opportunities, call or e-mail Sonia at the contact information listed below.
